Terms and Conditions

By registering, submitting a paper, and/or making a payment through this website, the User is deemed to have read, understood, and agreed to the following Terms and Conditions.

1. Participant Registration

  • Registration is conducted online through the official ICAME XI 2026 website.
  • Participants must fill in their personal data accurately, completely, and truthfully.
  • Registration categories (Presenter Publishing, Presenter Non-Publishing, General Participant, Student, etc.) and their fees follow the terms applicable at the time of registration, including the Early Bird and Regular Registration periods.
  • The committee reserves the right to verify registration data, including authorship status for the presenter category.

2. Paper Submission

  • Submitted manuscripts must follow the ICAME XI template and submission guidelines.
  • Submitted manuscripts will undergo a peer review process; acceptance decisions rest solely with the review team and organizing committee.
  • Accepted manuscripts must be revised according to reviewer feedback and submitted in camera-ready form by the specified deadline.
  • Failure to submit revisions/camera-ready versions on schedule may result in the paper being excluded from the publication/presentation process.

3. Payment

  • Registration fee payment is made through the methods available on the Payment Process page of this website.
  • Participants must complete payment according to their category and the applicable period (Early Bird/Regular); late payment may result in a change to the next fee tier.
  • Valid proof of payment must be uploaded/confirmed as instructed on the website to validate registration status.
  • The committee reserves the right to reject or delay registration confirmation if proof of payment is inconsistent or cannot be verified.

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • Registration fees that have been paid are generally non-refundable, except under specific conditions determined by the committee’s special policy (for example, event cancellation by the organizer).
  • Requests for cancellation or changes to registration data may be submitted via email to icame@unhas.ac.id, and will be considered based on the committee’s policy in effect at that time.

5. Hybrid Participation

  • Participants may choose to attend in person at Unhas Hotel & Convention, Makassar, or virtually via Zoom Meeting.
  • The committee reserves the right to change the mode of implementation (in-person/virtual/hybrid) in the event of force majeure or circumstances beyond the organizer’s control, with notice to registered participants.

6. Publication

  • Accepted papers may have the opportunity to be published in Web of Science (WoS)-indexed proceedings, or recommended for Scopus-indexed journals following an additional review process.
  • The committee does not guarantee publication in any specific journal, as final decisions rest with the editorial policy of each partner publisher/journal.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

  • Authors are fully responsible for the originality of the manuscripts they submit and warrant that such work is free from plagiarism and does not infringe upon the copyrights of others.
  • By submitting a manuscript, the author grants the committee and publishing partners permission to review, format-edit, and publish the manuscript in accordance with applicable publication terms.

8. Changes to Schedule and Terms

The committee reserves the right to change the schedule, fees, procedures, or other terms of this conference at any time, and will communicate such changes through the official website.

9. Limitation of Liability

The committee is not liable for losses arising from data entry errors by participants, technical disruptions beyond the organizer’s control (including third-party internet/payment platform disruptions), or force majeure.
